Creative Consultation & Evaluation
Creative consultation
We are really interested in using creative and playful ways to listen and gather information.
This is sometimes called ‘consultation’. But, when done well, it's also a great way to democratise planning processes or policy making.
Often, this is the bit before strategy development- where we make space and time, to gather a range of people’s views, ideas, feelings and responses- in order to help shape an idea or a plan.
We often facilitate Creative Consultation with communities, children, young people, schools, staff members across a network or range of organisations in a place or other stakeholders.
Usually the process is rooted in a question, or set of enquiry questions, which we can help develop.
Whilst our approach is rooted in creativity and play, the qualitative and quantitative data that is gathered is rigourous. This is then usually analysed by us and presented back in the form of a report or presentation, or sometimes in more creative ways.
Evaluation
We can also use some of these approaches to evaluate or understand the effectiveness or impact of something. This might be a project, a programme or an organisation as a whole.
With our Academic & practice led experience, we are able to marry together quantitative and qualitative data, gathered through inclusive, playful and creative methods, to extract meaningful insight and learning.
We care most about ensuring everyones voices are heard in the process, to facilitate the richest learning and reflection.
This often forms evaluation reports, impact reports, case studies, short films or other creative outputs, depending on the context.
Our collective experience and expertise, allows to contextualise this data further through sector wide bench marking and a working awareness of good practice.
